The 150Series Overshot is aReleasing and Circulating Overshot which is an external fishing tool to engage, pack off and retrieve tubular fishin the well during drilling operation, especially for fishing drill collar and drill pipe.There are different sizes of grapples to be assembled in the Overshot to catch different sizes of fish.HaigeSeries 150 Overshot consists of three outside parts: Top Sub, Bowl and a Standard Guide. The internal parts can be Spiral Grapple Sets or Basket Grapple Sets, ifthe fish diameter is near the maximum catch of the Overshot, a Spiral Grapple, Spiral Grapple Control, and TypeAPacker are used. If the fish diameter is considerably below maximum catch size ( 1/2or more) a Basket Grapple and a Mill Control Packer are used.
